Although our graphic designer George is not primarily known for his photography, he recently took a first place in the Essex National Heritage Commission 2011 Photo contest in the category "People and Places", for his entry "Village Blacksmith, Pioneer Village, Salem. The photo will be on display at both the Essex National Heritage Visitor Center in Salem, and at the Merrimack Valley Regional Planning Office for one year.
